How to care for Texas Sage
Sun Exposure:
To grow the plant, choose a place where it receives full sunlight. It needs at least six hours of direct sunlight each day. The soil should be well-draining. Sandy or rocky soil works best. Avoid areas with heavy clay or those where water stands after rain.
Planting:
Plant it in early spring or fall. To plant the sapling, dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, making sure it is not too deep. Dig a pit to plant the sapling and cover the roots properly with soil. Water it well after planting, but do not water too often.
Watering
Once established, Texas Sage needs little water. Overwatering can harm the plant. Water only during long dry spells.
Fertilization:
It does not need fertilizer. Too much feeding can reduce blooming.
Pruning:
Prune the plant lightly to keep its shape. The end of winter or the beginning of spring is the best time to prune the plant. Avoid cutting too much, as it can damage the plant.

Pests and Diseases:
This flowering shrub is very low maintenance and is also resistant to pests and diseases. It is a great choice for landscaping and growing in pots. Birds and bees love it.
With proper care, Texas Sage can live for many years. It brings color and life to dry landscapes without needing much attention.
Happy gardening
